The three-model housing project at Poway Commons, a mixed-used community along Poway Road, is more than half occupied, officials said.Guy Asaro, president and CEO of Meridian Communities, said 50 of the 97 market-rate homes have been sold. Another 17 are under construction. The last 30 are left to sell, construct and close, he said.The residences are two- and three-story townhouses and flats.'It's been extremely successful,' he said of the project. 'People want to live in Poway and in this more urban location.
