Former Poway resident Francesca Williams will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, an artist, writer, farmer, caretaker, linguist and translator, among many other things, family members said this week. 'She was absolutely brilliant, she could do anything she wanted to do and be,' said her mother, Marianna Benedict-Bacilla. Williams died last month at her family farm in Ecuador when she was shot by a band of home intruders, family members said. Williams, 44, grew up in Poway and graduated from Poway High School in 1996.
