SAN DIEGO — As part of its 'A License to Love' campaign, the San Diego Humane Society is waiving fees for first-time dog licenses and renewals throughout June.There will be no cost to license your dog, and even late fees are included. The Humane Society covers 13 areas in the county: Carlsbad, Del Mar, El Cajon, Encinitas, Escondido, Imperial Beach, Oceanside, Poway, San Diego, San Marcos, Santee, Solana Beach and Vista.Humane Society staff said those who want to receive a free one-year license must complete the process before July 1, and need to use the special promotion code: FREELICENSE.
