Several students from the Rancho Bernardo and Poway area have recently received degrees and other academic honors at colleges and universities across the United States. Ethan Gilmour of the Rancho Bernardo area presented original academic work during Ohio Wesleyan University's 2023 Spring Student Symposium. As part of a group, Gilmour presented 'How Does the Witches' Sabbath in 16th & 17th Century Europe Relate/Not Relate to Ancient Greek, Roman and Inquisition Catholics Ceremonies?' The annual symposium is designed to highlight the breadth, depth and quality of work produced by Ohio Wesleyan students in their classes and through mentored research, artistic performances and other projects.
