The Rancho Bernardo High School Royal Regiment with its awards. Rancho Bernardo High School's Royal Regiment won gold at the 20th annual Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association 6A Field Show Championships. It competed against 11 other 6A division bands on Nov. 19 under the direction of Duane Otani and Zachary Christy. The drum majors were Brian Choi, Hallie Law, Caleb Lee and Molly Shipman.The Royal Regiment's field show, 'The Summit,' won first place along with the competition's 'High Music Performance' award.
