Lifelong Poway resident Jeannie Hume has been busy packing mementos and memorabilia she's collected over the past 39 years — including some notable awards — while getting ready for the next chapter in her life. Hume is set to hand over her cherished business, Crystal Gardens Florist — which she has cultivated for nearly four decades in Poway — to Kamila Polchowska after the new owner's training ends in mid-November. 'I feel very honored and I know I made the right choice many moons ago to open my own flower shop,' Hume said.
