Many residents from Poway and the Rancho Bernardo area have earned degrees and academic honors from colleges and universities across the country. Raymark Mariano of the Rancho Bernardo area earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Mariano was one of nearly 3,400 students who earned degrees from UMGC in the spring 2023 semester. The campus is based in Adelphi, Maryland. * * * * * Mya Kelley of the Rancho Bernardo area was among nearly 5,400 undergraduates named to the Kennesaw State University Spring 2023 President's List.
