Christmas break is over and no squad is happier about that than the Poway High girls basketball team.After more than a week away from the court, the Titans needed most of the first game back in action to find its groove.Despite fumbling away most of a 14-point lead, the No. 9-ranked Titans won their opening game of pool play Tuesday in the FIBA West Division of the SoCal Holiday Classic with a 46-36 victory over Francis Parker at Canyon Hills High.Sophomore forward Katelyn Johnson added a driving layup and a pair of free throws in the final minute when Poway (8-2) needed it most.
